Greg “FBT” Mueller is a professional poker player from Vancouver, British Columbia, born and raised in White Rock.
Greg is a former professional hockey player, having played 8 seasons in Germany. He actually learned to play poker on the back of the team bus on road trips during his hockey career. After retiring from hockey in 1999, Greg began playing Limit cash games and moved on to No-Limit cash games, before trying his hand at tournaments.
In 2009, Greg final tabled in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) $10K World Championshihp Seven Card Stud for more than $50K, before defeating some of the world’s best poker players to win two WSOP gold bracelets. Greg earned his first bracelet in the $10K World Championship Limit Hold ‘em event for over $460K in prize money. He won his second bracelet in the $1.5K Hold ‘em Shootout event, winning more than $190K. As of 2010, his total live tournament winnings exceed $1,700,000. His 20 cashes at the WSOP account for $1,516,206 of those winnings. Greg has made it to eight final tables at the World Series of Poker.
